Production Supervisor Wanted!

• Day Shift.
• Monday to Friday.
• Ordinary pay rate of $40.00hr (including casual loading).

Our National Client is a global manufacturer of paint, coatings and specialty materials. They operate in 70 countries and are seeking for an experienced production supervisor, to join the team. The Tullamarine site, tint and make paint for Aeroplanes.

The ideal candidate will have experience monitoring a small or large team, coordinate daily production activities, and ensure production targets are met.

Successful applicants must be available Monday to Friday and must have full rights to work in Australia long-term.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for day to day production of various coatings products.
• Assist the operations manager as directed.
• Oversee the picking and preparation of the formulas required for producing a particular product.
• Coordinating day to day production of various packaging operations.
• Assist with training production workers.
• Supervise 6 to 8 employees.

Ideal Candidate:

• Production Supervisor experience.
• An all rounder to assist with paint makers, working with the logistics and warehouse team.
• Previous experience working in a similar environment - training will be provided.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good understanding and ability to interpret product formulae.
• Punctual & Reliable.
• Computer skills.
